I have to reiterate sadly that if this is the business of Marc Coimbra of Jet cleaning & roofing solutions, DO NOT be fooled into believing him or that he will resolve and stand by his clams to get the job done thoroughly and professionally. He is only what you see or hear on the surface but has an entirely different plan once he’s got your money. I’ve said it before, and say this again, though sadly as I would never intentionally impact someone’s livelihood negatively, but the way he has handled the matter of how he behaved from start & actually not even finish!!! what he was paid for, nor in my case the damages HE caused me in my home, forwork he was NOT instructed or quoted on to do. In fact he offered all the ‘extra’ which only caused more problems, and then handed us an invoice!!!!! Check his T’s and c’s, he’s In contravention of what he hi Self promises but means nothing to him. I am horrified that he is still In business. But I am advising anyone who might consider using him to keep a close eye on him, keep him on a short leash and make sure you don’t get fooled and conned out of money he’s not entitled or justified in taking. I am shocked and horrified this is how some people Do ‘business’ and get away with it.

MC Roofing Solutions, Marc Coimbra, is a **** and a con. A year later I am still trying to get compensation for damages he made to my home, in addition to not having done the work successfully or completely. He is unreliable, unprofessional and *************. I do not recommend his business or services whatsoever. I hope this review is a wake up call if he hopes to make it worthwhile in any business. Being a bully and a ***ard won’t work forever. I realise this is a harsh review. But sadly deserved.

My husband was terminally ill and was concerned that should something happen to him he would not want me to battle with maintaining the roof on our house which was dated and required constant maintenance During December 2018 MC Roofing completed the installation of a new roof at my home in Meyersdal. The entire project that was quoted on was to remove the existing Everite slate and replace it with corrugated roof sheeting. Ensuring that waterproofing was completed properly was part of the project. On 15 December 2017, my husband climbed onto the roof to inspect the work done. He sent Bertus a message on 15 December stating that he was very disappointed with the waterproofing that had been done. On 20 December 2017, Bertus met with my husband and I at our home to discuss the problem we were having with the waterproofing. Due to the fact that my husband and I were going away for the festive season and nobody would be around to give access to the property, it was agreed that Bertus will come and finish off the waterproofing in January 2018. On 18 January 2018, the waterproofing was done and my husband sent Bertus a message to thank him and stated that he was going to inspect the work on the weekend. On 24 January 2018 my husband sent Bertus a message to say the roof is still leaking. On 29 January my husband sent Bertus another message to say there is a new leak. A photo showing the water on the floor in the entrance hall was included in the message as the leaking was excessive. Bertus responded to say that he will come and look when the weather clears. On the same day my husband advised that the final payment as per the agreement had been made. I did not agree with the making of the payment but my husband said Bertus was a nice guy and i should be more trusting. Subsequent to the payment, my husband tried to make contact with Bertus on many occasions to come and sort out the leaking roof but to no avail. In April 2017, my husband finally made contact and Bertus eventually sent one of his employees (Jan) to our home to see what the problems were with the waterproofing. My husband had terminal cancer and was in and out of hospital during this time. I spoke to Jan face to face and he advised me that he needed additional flashing as the waterproofing around each skylight is sagging. He said that the water collects there and then leaks into the house. On Wednesday 4 April Bertus advised that he had ordered the goods to fix the waterproofing and he would see us on Friday 6 April 2018 to do the repairs. Nobody arrived and after many attempts to contact Bertus, on 8 May Bertus finally responded to a message my husband had repeatedly sent him. On 10 May Bertus committed to give my husband a call on 11 May 2018 to discuss the waterproofing and the leaks as he said he was coming to Johannesburg. My husband responded to say that he unfortunately would not be available to as he had chemotherapy the entire day on Friday. The agreement was that you would call on the Monday. On Friday it was decided that my husband was too ill to undergo chemotherapy and it was postponed to the Monday. My husband then sent Bertus a message on the Sunday to say that he was not going to be available on Monday14 May 2018. Bertus responded to say that he would advise when he is back in Johannesburg again. On 23 May and 24 May my husband sent Bertus messages to say that he should please not forget about us. Unfortunately shortly thereafter my husband was admitted to hospital and passed away on 16 June 2018. I have been manning his phone for any communication from Bertus and I have tried to call Bertus from both my and my husbands mobile phones but it appears that Bertus has blocked these telephone numbers. On 24 August I managed to make contact with Bertus using a land line and on 27 August he came to my home to discuss the leaking of the roof in the following areas: Entrance hall 3 x skylights Entrance hall pa****t wall Main bedroom dressing room skylight Garage Eve Outside room - both outer walls and above electrical main switch box Bertus said two of his employees will be made available the following week to complete the required waterproofing. To date I have still not heard from Bertus Nieuwoudt. He has blocked my telephone numbers and does not respond to my numerous emails. I need to sell our home as I am no longer in a position to afford the upkeep. The warranty received from MC Roofing is pointless and the integrity of Bertus is questionable. Bertus Nieuwoudt took advantage of a sick dying man and I do wonder how he manages to sleep at night.

Worth checking yourself
Their public rating is on the low side. Read the most recent reviews yourself before deciding.
Only a few public reviews are shown. Ask for recent references you can contact.
Their public evidence comes from a single source. Look them up on another site before deciding.
No credentials are shown here and the business has not claimed this profile. Ask to see certificates and insurance directly.
Never agree to roof work from a cold-caller at your door or an unsolicited 'we noticed your roof' note. That is the classic roofing scam.
Get a written quote that itemises access (scaffolding or a tower), the exact materials, and the workmanship guarantee, not a vague day rate.
Be wary of demands for a large cash deposit; agree staged payments against work you can actually see completed.
