1. About these terms
MyTrustedTraders is operated by etti.ai Limited, registered in England and Wales (company number 15533048), registered office 60 Lee Park, London, SE3 9HZ, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). By accessing or using the site, including the apex and any country subdomain, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. What the service is
MyTrustedTraders aggregates and presents publicly available information about tradespeople so you can evaluate them more clearly. It also publishes limited editorial evidence-recognition editions under stated methods. The service is not an endorsement, certification, guarantee of any tradesperson, or private vetting service.
3. No substitute for your own checks
Profile, review and credential data is sourced from third parties, may be incomplete, and can change over time. Before hiring, you remain responsible for independently verifying a tradesperson's identity, credentials, insurance, availability, pricing and suitability, and for agreeing your own contract with them.
4. Claimed business profiles
A "claimed" business profile means an owner relationship has been authenticated through our claim process. It does not mean we guarantee the tradesperson's workmanship, conduct, or the accuracy of everything on the profile.
5. Enquiries and your decisions
Submitting an enquiry shares the details you provide with the businesses you choose to contact and lets us save your enquiry history. You decide whether to contact, shortlist, invite or hire any tradesperson, and we are not a party to, and accept no responsibility for, any agreement or work between you and a tradesperson.
6. Reviews and third-party content
Reviews, ratings and third-party listings originate from named review sources and public registers. We present them as aggregated evidence and do not adopt them as our own statements. We are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party content.
7. Evidence recognitions
A MyTrustedTraders evidence recognition is an editorial result calculated for a stated comparison group, evidence cutoff and methodology. It is free and cannot be bought. It is not an endorsement, certification, verification of workmanship, promise of future performance, or substitute for your own checks. Published editions explain their sources, tie-breakers, limitations and how to request a correction. A result may be corrected or withdrawn when its evidence or identity match is wrong.
8. Intellectual property
The site, its design, original text, and the compiled database, including database rights, are owned by etti.ai Limited or its licensors. You may use the site for personal, non-commercial evaluation. You must not use automated collection, copy, or extract substantial parts of the database, resell the content, or use it to build a competing dataset without our written permission. Trade marks and business-supplied content remain the property of their respective owners.
9. Corrections, removals and profile rights
Tradespeople can use the Profile rights page to request correction, restriction or removal where public profile evidence is inaccurate, out of date, or unsafe to display. Identity, source and privacy issues are handled there, separately from commercial features.
10. No paid trust placement
Claiming a business profile, using tradesperson tools, or any future paid features do not buy public ranking, evidence recognition, trust badges, review visibility, or stronger evidence language. Commercial features are kept separate from public evidence pages.
11. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: do not use automated collection from private or account pages, make false or fraudulent enquiries, impersonate a person or business, interfere with security or availability, or use the service unlawfully.
12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your hiring decisions or dealings with tradespeople. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud, and your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
13. Changes, governing law and contact
We may update these terms; the current version is shown on this page. These terms and any dispute are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and subject to the non-excludable rights of consumers in their country of residence. Contact: hello@mytrustedtraders.com.
Decision responsibility
The evidence narrows the field. It does not make the hiring decision for you.
MyTrustedTraders is designed to make public evidence faster to inspect. Final hiring, credential verification, contract terms, pricing, insurance, and suitability remain decisions for the homeowner and tradesperson.

- Tradespeople should keep claimed business profile details accurate and request a correction when source data is wrong.
