Imported evidence stays visible
Review sources, source names, and profile evidence keep their origin visible after claim. We do not turn imported public evidence into a native MyTrustedTraders endorsement.
Early access in South Africa. We are still building our directory for South Africa. The profiles here show real public evidence from named sources, but coverage is limited and our checks are not yet as complete as on our UK site. Treat this as a preview, not a full picture.
Attach this public profile to your tradesperson account so you can manage it, respond to enquiries, and keep it up to date.
Review sources, source names, and profile evidence keep their origin visible after claim. We do not turn imported public evidence into a native MyTrustedTraders endorsement.
Claiming lets an authorised tradesperson manage the MyTrustedTraders profile, respond to enquiries, and correct weak profile data. It does not create a licence, insurance badge, or workmanship approval.
A claimed business profile can receive structured homeowner enquiries through the workspace without bidding against other businesses for the same contact.
Ranking, badges, and visible evidence stay evidence-led. Paid workflow tools cannot buy placement, hide review context, or create trust badges.
This page is designed to make the business model, owner-control rules, and public evidence meaning clear before you submit. Everything you see on your public profile keeps source names visible and stays evidence-led after claiming.
After claim, the tradesperson can keep profile basics accurate, add work photos, respond to homeowner enquiries, request reviews, and work through verification from one dashboard. That control is the point of the claim route.
A claimed business profile never replaces a trade register, company identity check, insurance document, source review count, or peer endorsement. The profile still has to explain which evidence came from which source.
Workflow tools and future analytics cannot change search rank, badge meaning, imported review visibility, or whether missing evidence is shown to homeowners. That promise belongs on the claim page before sign-up, when the tradesperson decides whether MyTrustedTraders is a fair place to manage the profile.
Create an account when you submit, then verify its email. We compare that verified address with current business contact evidence; if that is not enough, our review team will check the claim.
