Extremely slow and bad service by Liam. I have been trying for t o days to do a deal with them. Liam just doesn’t come back to you with the requested information. Liam also told me that Aquanet supplies inferior quality products. After investigation I realised that Aquanet offers a better warranty and the same specs, at a much lower price. Liam Also told me that Aquanet copied there designs. Liam is disinterested and couldn't care if he gets the order or not. One of the worst sales people I ever had to deal with. Stay away!

We purchased a roll-up system for our pool from Power Plastic after seeing their advert on Facebook. The advertising was convincing and led us to believe that the product would be durable and suitable for long-term use. However, the system was made from inferior materials and failed just after the 1-year warranty period, lasting only 14 months. For a product that cost us nearly R20,000, this level of quality is unacceptable. In terms of service, our experience was equally disappointing. Leroy, the salesperson, tried to assist us, but the overall after-sales service from the company was pathetic. Communication was slow, and we waited far too long for any form of feedback. When we eventually interacted with the finance representative, Caroline, she was very rude and abrupt, which added even more frustration to the entire process. Because of the poor product quality and the lack of proper support, we were forced to spend additional money with another provider to replace the roll-up system entirely. We feel misled by the advertising, let down by the product, and extremely dissatisfied with the service we received. We are requesting accountability and a fair resolution from Power Plastic.

Product Warranty & Timeline Your Roll-Up Station (RUS) was supplied in October 2023 with a 12-month warranty. The issue was first reported to us after the warranty period had expired. While we always aim to assist our customers as far as reasonably possible, a unit failing outside of its warranty period is unfortunately not covered. 2. Product Quality The Roll-Up Station you purchased is the same model supplied nationwide and widely used without structural failures. Based on the photos and description, the failure appears to have occurred long after installation and outside the warranty period. Although we sympathise, this does not indicate misleading advertising or product misrepresentation. 3. Service & Communication We note your comments regarding communication and interactions with our staff. Your feedback has been shared internally, and we will address it with the relevant team members. That said, our records show that our staff, made several attempts to assist and provide guidance despite the product being outside warranty. 4. Resolution Offered Because the unit was out of warranty, we were unable to provide a free replacement. However, we did offer pricing on spare parts and replacement options, which you declined. We remain committed to supporting our customers fairly and within the terms of our warranties. Even the team who came out to take the template were remarkable. They got the measurements 💯👌even though we have a very complicated shaped pool. The cover is easy to open & close. Looks appealing to the eye & comes in different colors. Added benefits of the cover: Minimum evaporation, keeps the water warm & clean thus using less chemicals, water & electricity. I was so surprised to even receive a Pool Cover Compliance Certificate. “Local legislature is promulgating by-laws that will require pool owners to produce a safe pool cover certificate when transferring property in the future (much like a COC for electrical installations).” Thank You.
