Buchel Hardware has its origin in Pretoria where the group has started as a plumbing and sanitary merchant in 1950. The plumbing and sanitaryware division has since been sold.Buchel Hardware is an icon in the history of Pretoria, as well as a recognised brand in the supply of ironmongery, hardware, locks and handles across South Africa, throughout Africa, and in a number of overseas countries. Buchel Hardware has four branches in Pretoria.The Buchel group today is an operation of Iliad Africa Trading(Pty)ltd, a fast growing company in its own right in the building trade, listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.Buchel Hardware distributes many of the major brands, including ABE, ASSA ABLOY, DORMA, DCLSA, HALCAST, HILLALDAM, CISA, SIKA, LASHER, NAMPAK, SERRA, HOWICK, GENKEM, SA LADDER, WINDOWLINES, FISCHER, ROCO, FRANKE, QS, MUL-T-LOCK, and VIRO to name a few. We do daily deliveries to the Johannesburg area and in and around Pretoria. We also deliver to Bloemfontein on Fridays.
