  • Favour installers accredited under the PV GreenCard programme (SAPVIA) and confirm the system meets NRS 097 and is registered with your municipality where required for grid-tied or feed-in installations.
  • Check the business is registered with CIPC, is VAT-registered if applicable, and carries public liability insurance.
  • Get an itemised written quote with panel, inverter and battery make/model, output estimate and warranties.
