# MyTrustedTraders: South Africa > A public-evidence directory of tradespeople in South Africa. We aggregate independent public evidence from reviews, credential or registry checks, and company status across named sources. We cross-check it and present it so a homeowner can judge who to trust. It is evidence, not opinion. We hold 10 distinct named sources for South Africa, grouped as review sources (Snupit, HelloPeter, TradePages, FindPro, ProCompare), accreditation and licensing bodies (SAQCC Gas, SACAP, PIRB, IOPSA), and business and registry sources (CIDB). For each tradesperson, the profile shows the rating and review volume we hold by source, any credential or registry checks we hold, company status where available, and plain-English evidence notes, with every claim linked to its source.
